OPEN OCTOBER 3   Kim Manfredi: View with a Grain of Sand Artist Kim Manfredi explores perception, landscape and the human desire to impose meaning on the natural world through paintings. The works draw from direct observation of elemental phenomena, transforming place into an abstract visual language. Using color layered with drips, bleeds and oversprays, the paintings evoke the vitality and unpredictability of nature. Fragmentation within the compositions reflects humanity’s imprint on the environment.

ART + NATURE 2026   Kim Manfredi: A Flag Walk for Our Future A Flag Walk for Our Future is a participatory project and outdoor installation conceived by American painter Kim Manfredi that engages visitors with the natural environment while reflecting on how shared social agreements shape our experience of place. Rooted in Manfredi’s ongoing exploration of painting, nature and cultural frameworks, the project builds on research developed during her residency at BoxoPROJECTS in Joshua TreeOutdoor installation on view November 5–9 in Heisler Park–Main Beach.
