Rugged individualism, freedom of expression, innovation! Discover how Jackson Pollock and the abstract expressionists were supported as symbols of Democracy by the CIA during the cold war. Then create your own painting that expresses what Democracy means to you. 

Have paint or drawing supplies on hand.
