Huntington Arts Council announced decentralized NYSCA 2020 Grant Winners!!!! THank a look and celebrate their success!!!
Congratulations to all of
the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) 2020 Decentralization Grant (DEC) recipients for Nassau and Suffolk counties.
Today we had originally planned a celebration and presentation ceremony to distribute award checks to all of the recipients. We didn't want to let the day go by without congratulating each of the individual artists, teaching artists and arts and cultural organizations who have been awarded a NYSCA 2020 DEC grant. For a full list of these grant recipients and their projects click here.

One of the Creative Individual Grant awardees,
John Brautigam talks briefly in the following video about his project with the Long Island Silent Film Orchestra (LISFO).
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in this grant cycle. Regardless of the challenges we face, we will continue our ongoing efforts to support the arts, artists, and cultural organizations.
Please visit our website huntingtonarts.org regularly for updates on the 2021 DEC grant cycle. We will continue to administer this program according to NYSCA guidelines with adjustments to formats as necessary in order to maintain the health and safety of all involved.
We look forward with optimism!
Be well, stay safe, and keep in touch.
All the best,
Huntington Arts Council
