CONTAINED MOVEMENT Curated by Leila Heller Gallery, Simone Levinson, Christine Mack, and Christina Strassfield Contained Movement brings together works by Kiki Smith, Richard Hudson, John Clement, Mia Fonssagrives Solow, Rachel Lee Hovnanian, Katya Emelyanova, Anton Bakker, Arthur Carter, and Helena Chastel, each exploring this theme. From mirrored steel and painted aluminum to bronze, ceramic, and fiberglass, the exhibition examines how material can evoke tension, transformation, and quiet energy, inviting viewers to experience sculpture as a moment suspended between stillness and motion.
