JARDIN DES TUILERIES
BOOTH 8

Until 12th April

At the occasion of the 28th edition of PAD Paris 2026, which will be held from April 8th to 12th in the Tuileries garden, Galerie Chastel-Maréchal is pleased to propose a special presentation of the latest Joy de Rohan Chabot’s creations.

All of these pieces will come to life in a perfect setting with dark colors, evoking the night and the nature that Joy de Rohan Chabot holds so dear. The artist will paint on the walls of the booth, thus creating a seamless continuity between the artworks.

In this context, the gallery will unveil for the first time a sculptural méridienne — a unique piece created especially for the fair — conceived as an invitation to reverie, a guiding thread throughout the artist’s work. This creation will be accompanied by mirrors reflecting a whimsy garden, as well as a spectacular chandelier, «L’Arbre aux oiseaux», a vibrant and delicate work.

Created exclusively for Galerie Chastel-Maréchal, these contemporary pieces will enter into dialogue with a selection of historic works from the 1930s and 1940s, characterized by more classical lines, including an exceptional table by Gilbert Poillerat, a mirror by Emilio Terry, and sculptures by Jean Mayodon. Finally, a selection of rare mirrors by Line Vautrin will complete the presentation, highlighting a subtle dialogue between periods, styles, and sensibilities.
