The exhibition creates a dialogue between early 20th-century design and the pop aesthetic of the 1960s. It explores a pivotal moment when the object is no longer confined to its function or its purely decorative role. Gradually, modernist creators began to conceive of the object as a space of freedom, where form, materials, and proportions became just as important as function. |
