Looking for a mature perspective catch influencer Lori Altman's podcasts on social media.

It's terrific to see Lpri Altman's success after 55.

What happens when a lifelong reality TV fanatic turns her obsession into a second-act career interviewing the stars everyone is talking about? Meet Lori Altermann, the 55-plus pop culture commentator, comedian, and content creator proving that it’s never too late to find your audience, or your next act. With more than 200,000 social media followers, 1.7 million TikTok likes, and an Instagram Reel that has surpassed 1.9 million views, Lori has transformed her passion for pop culture into a fast-growing platform. Through her podcast, Fan or Fanatic, she sits down with reality TV personalities and entertainment figures to unpack the shows, personalities, and cultural moments audiences can’t stop talking about.

Her guests have included Tom Schwartz of Vanderpump Rules, Hilaria Baldwin, Melissa Rivers, Michael Rapaport of The Traitors, Patricia Altschul of Southern Charm, Jenn Fessler of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Carl Radke of Summer House, Lacy Nicole of The Valley, Hannah David and Jack McCann of Million Dollar Nannies, Taylor Frankie Paul's mother Liann May, Raine Michaels of Netflix's Calabasas Confidential, and Steven McBee and Tessa Lollar of The McBee Dynasty, to name a few. In an industry obsessed with insiders, her greatest asset was being a fan. Her enthusiasm, curiosity and genuine investment in reality TV became the foundation for a distinctive interviewing style and a growing presence in entertainment commentary. After battling breast cancer, moving to a new neighborhood, and helping her kids leave the house for college, Lori had a mid-life crisis and worried that her dreams might have passed her by. Lori decided to start posting on TikTok and created the Fan or Fanatic podcast in 2025. She was a guest host on QVC before working with Us Weekly as an on-camera pop culture commentator. Attending A-List events and interviewing the stars, the partnership launched Lori into the spotlight and her podcast listenership skyrocketed.

As a woman building her influence after 55, she offers a fresh perspective on midlife reinvention, the rise of older creators, and why audiences increasingly connect with personalities who bring humor, honesty, and real-life experience to the conversation.
