Cottonwood Art Festival takes place in Richardson, Texas, an affluent suburb just seconds from Dallas.  This event is held in a beautiful, shady park setting. It's professionally run by very attentive staff/volunteers who pay attention to artists' needs and treat the artists with southern hospitality. Strong community support, loyal patrons, educated collectors and acquisitive art lovers make for large crowds and one of the finest art festivals in the country.

*$30 Jury fee; $300 booth fee

*Each artist's booth space is approximately 10' x 10' and load in is at your booth space and is easy.
 

To support the community and engage people from all across Texas and neighboring states, Arts in the Square is a juried Fine Arts festival featuring over 100 of the best national and regional artists selling their original works of art.  Arts in the Square is hosted by Frisco Square Development with close participation of the Collin County Songwriters Association and the Society for the Development of Visual Arts.  Frisco Square hosts and presents events throughout the year and has a reputation for bringing out the high-end buying crowd to each of its events. Every aspect of this event is artist focused and seeks to provide a venue that enhances your work and simplifies your participation.  Frisco Square is similar to a European village; a pedestrian-friendly urban environment in one of the fastest growing cities in America, Frisco, Texas.

                 Thursday, April 12, 2012, Premiere Night 6 pm - 9 pm
                 Friday, April 13, 2012, 10 am - 7 pm
                 Saturday, April 14, 2012, 10 am - 7pm
                 Sunday, April 15, 2012, 12 pm - 5 pm

NOTEWORTHY:

*The largest fine art, fine craft event in West Texas.  Over 30,000 people attended the 2011 Lubbock Arts Festival. 

*Booth artists enjoy a 100% indoor, air conditioned venue, Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

*No commission is charged, only a flat booth rate. 

*The $50,000 advertising campaign for the event includes print, radio, television, billboards, and electronic media.

*Artist amenities include volunteer booth sitters, access to a private hospitality area stocked with refreshments, and lunch is provided on Friday and Saturday.  Other amenities: host hotel with special rate, twenty-four hour security, free parking, and wireless internet.

*Booth Fees: $350 - 10' x 10' Pipe & Drape with 500 watts of electricity; $425 - 10'x 10' (Corner) Pipe & Drape with 500 watts of electricity; $500 - 10'x20' Pipe & Drape with 1,000 watts of electricity.

This charming festival is fast becoming a Georgetown favorite. For two
magic days, the Georgetown's historic downtown square is transformed
into an outdoor art gallery. Art in Square is a juried festival
featuring 130 local, national, and international fine artists. Now in
its third year on the courthouse square, the 2011 Art in Square promises
to be bigger and better than ever in 2011. This Texas Hill Country
community, only 30 miles from Austin, is the perfect setting for an
unforgettable festival. The event is FREE and everyone is invited to enjoy!
