Ground Arts - Forward. Rewind. Repeat

Ground Arts Organization proudly presents Forward. Rewind. Repeat, a group exhibition featuring five artists of different disciplines from the east coast. The title obviously speaks to video, but also the act of mental and physical artistic process.
Featuring Bianca Pratorius, Elizabeth Stehling, Caitlin Peluffo, Scott Malbaurn, and Charles Evans, this exhibition investigates the use of repetition in both process and outcome. These artists investigate the use of repetition in their work conceptually, or through repetitive movements and actions physically. These practices may yield patterns or rhythm in their work as a compositional strategy, or may be repeated actions generating consistently different results.
Ground Arts is thrilled to partner with “The Art Start Family on “The Home Project.” Art Start is a NYC non-profit that for 20 years has run creative arts workshops with youth in homeless shelters and alternative to incarceration programs.
Ground Arts and Art Start will collaborate with the youth to help them create works of art inspired by the theme “Home,”. An exhibition of the work will be curated by Ground Arts alongside contemporary NYC Artists. The proceeds from this show will go to securing a space, or “Home”, in Chelsea for Art Start’s workshops with at-risk youth.

Ground is a collaborative project with Rogue Space | Chelsea, FilmsOnArtists, and Studio Spoken.

AFA | At AFA, we are inspired by wildly imaginative artwork that indulges the senses and engages the emotions with layers of  symbolism and dark complexity. We exhibit paintings, drawings and sculptures created by extraordinary established and emerging artists who are highly skilled and have a unique vision.

AFA participates in the SoHo Arts Walk, now in its fifth year.
