New Stony Brook Long Island, Stop to look at the Staller Center for the Arts Fall LIneup fro the Director. Get your tickets to musical events. 2026

I know I’m getting a head start on May, but I couldn’t wait to share this with you. Because tomorrow at noon, we officially open ticket sales to the public for our Fall 2026 Season!

If you’ve already had a look at who's coming, you know this is a season worth getting excited about. So why not start buying right now? Friends of Staller Members have Early Access now through tomorrow at 12 pm. That means if you join today, you can secure your seats before the general public sale tomorrow. It’s one of the countless perks of our Membership program, and for a season like this, it can make all the difference.

This Fall, you'll see a mix of familiar faces alongside Staller debuts. We kick off the season with An Intimate Evening with David Foster & Katharine McPhee, pairing a 16-time Grammy-winning hitmaker with a top-notch vocalist for one memorable night. In October, David Sedaris brings some sharp, laugh-out-loud moments for an evening of hilarious storytelling, followed by comedian Paul Reiser, who will keep those belly laughs going. And with standout performances like One Vision of Queen starring Marc Martel – whose voice channels Freddie Mercury with amazing resemblance – and Ballets Jazz MontrĂ©al’s stunning tribute to Leonard Cohen, there's so much to be excited about. It's a lineup we're really proud of, so I encourage you to take advantage of Early Access while it’s still available!

But I'm getting ahead of myself. Because something huge is happening this weekend (and I'm not talking about the heavy rain we're in for). In TWO days, we welcome the extraordinary Bernadette Peters for our 2026 Gala – and we're nearly sold out! This performance is her only East Coast appearance this season, so this is a rare opportunity to see one of Broadway’s most legendary performers in an intimate setting.

A Golden Globe winner and three-time Tony recipient, Bernadette Peters has defined musical theater for generations. I could go on all day listing all of her credits, and believe me, I would. Her performances have become part of the fabric of Broadway itself. Her connection to the music of Stephen Sondheim in particular is legendary. And her ability to bring intense, emotional depth to every performance she gives is unmatched. There's nobody like Bernadette Peters, and with only a limited number of tickets left, I'd suggest you act fast.

I hope you’ll join us this Saturday, and for the exciting season ahead. Make sure you also mark your calendars for the 31st annual Stony Brook Film Festival, July 16-25th! More on that to come.

With gratitude,
Alan Inkles
