The artist talk and event at Hotel Chelsea for my new artwork was such a full-circle moment for me. Still processing. Highlights coming soon. But now…

We’re heading to Texas with
Dendrofemonology: A Feminist History Tree Ring

Austin Central Library
for an Evening of Art & The Premiere of our New Film, Where Are We?
Oct 27th, 6pm

Join us in person in Austin if you’ll be there!

RSVP TO FREE EVENT

If you’re not in Austin, we’re inviting people all over Texas and America like we’ve done in the past, to simultaneously premiere the film at their home the same night.

The week before the midterms is stressful, this is a good time to gather with family, friends and neighbors for an uplifting night around women’s rights!

Sign up to host a free home event & receive the new film

White Hot Magazine & Art Daily published great articles
about our plans for the film and Texas.

I have iterated on the same film for 3 years making 4 different versions as it gets installed around the country. This version is greatly expanded with a lot more context about this moment in time for women’s rights.
What was once titled, We Are Here (9 mins) is now Where Are We? (16 mins)

Austin Central Library, who is installing Dendrofemonology and premiering the film Where Are We? is celebrating its 100 Year Anniversary
and it is such a stunning space.

This location in Texas is especially meaningful as we see draconian efforts there to ban our freedoms with both books and our bodies. This is a critical time in our country with 13 states banning reproductive rights and I am looking forward to bringing this project to Texas, to let women in Texas, and all over the country to know
we are with them.

The moveable monument tour began on the National Mall in Washington DC in 2023 and has since traveled to Madison Square Park in NYC, 21c Museum in St. Louis, MO, di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art in San Francisco, and most recently, the birthplace of women’s rights at the Wesleyan Chapel and the National Women’s Hall of Fame Museum in Seneca Falls, New York.

This is one of many gatherings across the country, brought to you by Dr. Nancy O’Reilly & Women Connect4Good, Dr. Piraye Yurttas Beim & Let It Ripple 501c3
