It’s been a chilly January in Chicago, and we’re excited to share three new projects that have been keeping us busy!
First up: Gary Fencik’s Super Bowl–winning commemorative Lombardi trophies are getting the star treatment. Every detail is cleaned, stabilized, and polished, making these icons of football history shine brighter than ever. Next, a 19th-century ledger is being given a new lease on life: after its fragile pages and delicate binding were carefully preserved, it’s time to digitize the piece for future reference and research while the original remains safely stored away. Finally, a vibrant Edward J. Holslag landscape takes center stage, as conservation treatment brings to light a relic of Chicago’s Gilded Age.
