WHAT: Fine Arts and Crafts - Under the Redwoods
          Ranked as one of the Top Five Fine Art Fairs in California, and in the Top 50
          in the nation. (Art Fair SourceBook 2011)

WHERE: 
13889 Skyline Boulevard, Woodside, California
 
             (30 minutes south of San Francisco, along the San Francisco Peninsula)
              
         
WHEN:  Labor Day Weekend, Aug. 30 - Sept. 2, 2013

*The 50th Anniversary year of this much loved and respected Art Fair.
 
*A stunning location and complete dedication to the artists (no musical groups, wine tastings, or commercial or corporate vendors).   This fair is known for drawing serious art buyers.
  
*A juried art fair, limited to 135 artists.
  
*An entirely volunteer run event, benefitting the Kings Mountain Fire Brigade and local school programs.  A strong reputation as an artist friendly venue, in a beautiful location, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for artists and patrons.
  
*Top 25% each year are automatically re-invited to return.

Application fee:  $20 
  
If accepted there is a $100 non-refundable entry fee and 15% commission on sales to participate.
  
Accepted artists are required to participate in the show, accompanying their art. (Assistants welcome to accompany and booth sitters are available during the Fair.)
  
Jurying occurs in February, acceptance notification is no later than March 15

WHERE: LaGrange, IL

WHEN: Saturday and Sunday
           September 14 - 15, 2013
           Saturday: 10 - 5; Sunday: 10 - 4

*Maximum of 90 artists. 

*Extensive promotion through media outlets.

*Attendance of over 7,000 visitors.

*Jury/Booth Fees ($10/$285).

*Friday Setup; drive up to your space for load-in and load-out.    
  
*Top Artist Amenities including Continental breakfast both days.
 

Celebrating its 18th year, the West End Art Festival is a LaGrange tradition whose purpose is to bring a quality, fine art event to the Village of LaGrange and surrounding communities and highlight the west end business district. Artists from across the country participate in LaGrange's late summer festival that attracts art admirers and patrons each year.

Presented by the LaGrange Business Association and held in cooperation with the Village of LaGrange, the festival is held in the shadow of the landmark Stone Avenue Station along Burlington Avenue between Brainard and Spring Avenues. The charming and historic West End area of LaGrange provides a picture-perfect setting to showcase art. Other highlights include live music, food from local LaGrange restaurants and children's art activities for an event to be enjoyed by all ages.

WHAT: Juried Fine Art Fair 
 
WHERE: Rochester Municipal Park, Rochester, Michigan
     
WHEN: Friday, September 6, 4pm-7:30pm; Saturday, September 7, 9am-7:30pm,                  Sunday, September 8, 9am-4pm
           

NOTEWORTHY:
  
*Presented by Paint Creek Center for the Arts, a nonprofit art center, the Art & Apples Festival is Michigan's second largest juried fine art festival with an average attendance of over 150,000 festival-goers and 290 artists from across the country.    

*Celebrating 48 years in 2013  

*Ranked 27th in the nation on Sunshine Artist Magazine's "200 Best" Fine Art & Design List 

*$5,000 in award money; $1,500 Grand Award, 5 Awards of Excellence $500 each.

*Held annually the weekend following Labor Day in Rochester's 30-acre Municipal Park.

*Artist amenities include: 24-hour security, booth sitting, artist care packages, ability to drive into park and unload right next to booth space, parking within walking distance to park and complimentary shuttle service to all artists.

*Application fee $30

*Booth fees: Single (11'x15') $425; Double (22'x15') $650; Corner additional $100; Electricity additional $60


Since 1982, PCCA has been dedicated to promoting the arts and artistic excellence through a full range of cultural programs including exhibitions, studio art classes, outreach programs, community involvement projects, and the Art & Apples Festival. PCCA's mission is to enhance life in the region by promoting, encouraging and creating opportunities to participate in and appreciate the arts.
