PHILLIPS’ FIFTH ANNUAL DAVID HOCKNEY AUCTION OPENS THE AUTUMN SEASON    Alongside the Editions Evening and Online Sales, and London’s First Dedicated Modernism Sale     LONDON – 24 AUGUST 2026 – Phillips is pleased to present highlights from the David Hockney, Modernism and Editions Evening and Online auctions in London this Autumn. On 19 September, Phillips will present its fifth annual auction dedicated exclusively to David Hockney. The auction will bring together a selection of important works spanning Hockney’s remarkable career, offering collectors an opportunity to engage with the vision of one of Britain’s most influential and enduring artistic voices. On 17 September, Phillips will debut its first standalone Modernism auction, bringing together editions by masters including Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró and Marc Chagall. The Editions Evening Sale follows, presenting works spanning the 20th and 21st centuries by key figures including Andy Warhol, Banksy, Jonas Wood, Gerhard Richter and Robert Indiana.
