Celebrate the artistic achievements of the great Mexican muralists David Alfaro Siqueiros, and Jose Clemente Orozco. Discover how these artists inspired Jackson Pollock in the creation of his groundbreaking abstract expressionist art and the mural projects of Pollock and Lee Krasner. Then Joyce Raimondo explains practical aspects of creating murals for hire.

WHAT'S MY LINE? PENCIL DRAWING Workshop

Following a presentation of Pollock’s early graphite drawings, we will explore basics of observational drawing and modeling with pencil. From cross hatching, blending, and highlighting, this workshop will teach you creative ways that you can use pencil to create light and shade. Supplies; several sheets of paper, pencil, sharpener, eraser.
