Flickering light through leaves, a spectacular sunrise,the changing seasons. How do artists capture the affects of light in painting from Impressionism to Abstract Expressionist art? Following an art presentation, participants are invited to paint their own interpretations of the beauty of light. Have paint supplies on hand.

SEASHELLS INTO ART: Georgia O'Keeffe Workshop
Inspired by shells found on the ocean shore, we will paint larger than life seashell paintings inspired by American artist Georgia O'Keeffe. Following a virtual art show of O'Keeffe's popular shell paintings, artist Joyce Raimondo will demonstrate how to turn your ocean finds into masterpieces. Have paint or drawing supplies and a shell or photograph of a shell on hand.
