Arte Laguna Prize announces an extraordinary extension for applications: artists can submit their entries until July 15, 2026. Two more weeks to participate in the 21st Open Call and to compete for the new Special Prize dedicated to the Painting section. Two weeks to submit up to five works and get the chance to exhibit at the Arsenale Nord in Venice from November 6 to 29, 2026. A PRIZE THAT ALSO INVESTS IN CONTEMPORARY PAINTING
In this special extension, a new partner supports painting with a total prize of 5,000 euros, split among three artists: two awards for oil works and one prize for other painting techniques. All artists registered in the Painting section will be eligible to compete for this Special Prize, in addition to applying for the other 13 Special Prizes already active in the Open Call. The initiative aims to recognize the vitality of the pictorial language and relaunch its ability to powerfully narrate present times. |
THE EXHIBITION AND THE NETWORK: A GLOBAL SHOWCASE FOR FINALISTS Each artist can present up to 5 works in any category of the competition. The finalists will exhibit at the Arsenale Nord in Venice for three weeks (November 6 - 29, 2026), in an exhibition that acts as a snapshot of the present: the international gaze of the jury and the variety of proposals guarantee a selection that intercepts the signals of the contemporary. The event attracts curators, critics, collectors, and cultural operators from all over the world, offering a strategic showcase to build new professional relationships.
