Anyone Can Draw!

Monday, November 7, 2 - 3 pm EST 

This workshop will show you simple techniques to improve your observational drawing skills. In this relaxed session, learn contour drawing skills guaranteed to improve your drawing in one hour! 

Supplies; mirror, 3 sheets of paper, pencil, sharpener, eraser.

Shape Up!

Wednesday, November 9, 7 - 8 pm, EST

How can a circle, square or a triangle convey an emotion? Explore how simple shapes communicate ideas and feelings in abstract art. Following the lecture, create an abstract work using bold shapes. Have a surface for your picture and assorted colored papers, scissors, glue and paint supplies on hand. Open to teens and adults!

Tribute to Ellen Frank

Thursday, November 10, 12 - 1 pm EST 

This special Zoom event celebrates the life and work of the late Ellen Frank (1946-2021), an internationally acclaimed painter, longtime Springs resident, and Founder of Cities of Peace — Ellen Frank Illumination Arts Foundation. Hosted from the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center by Joyce Raimondo, Education Coordinator, guest speakers Skender Boshtrakaj, former Director of the Kosovo Museum in Pristina, Kosovo, Ellen’s husband Stephen Dickman, and other speakers will pay tribute to her creativity and dedication to worldwide peace.
