The 13th annual edition of DOC NYC, the largest documentary film festival in the US, will run Nov 9-27, 2022 in theaters and online. DOC NYC is also an Academy-qualifying festival for short films.  DOC NYC’s winning short will qualify for consideration in the Documentary Short Subject category of the Annual Academy Awards® without the standard theatrical run, provided the film otherwise complies with the Academy rules.
