This October, Untitled Art, Houston brings together a broad international community of galleries and artists from 20 countries and territories, creating new connections between Houston and the wider art world. From first-time presentations in Texas to galleries exploring shared histories, geographies, and artistic lineages, the fair offers discovery across borders and disciplines.

Raul Mourão, Abraham Palatnik, and José Dávila Nara Roesler, São Paulo / New York
Exploring gravity, perception, and the relationship between material and space, Nara Roesler brings together sculptural practices spanning generations of Latin American art. Kinetic experimentation, architectonic form, and carefully calibrated arrangements of stone, glass, steel, and industrial materials create a dialogue around movement, balance, and physical tension. Moments of suspension and structural precision invite a closer consideration of how objects occupy, activate, and reshape the space around them.

Tessa Whitehead and Marisa Willoughby-Holland TERN, Nassau
TERN presents two painting practices that explore femininity, motherhood, and the emotional pull of home, drawing on visual languages of the Caribbean. Lush color, surreal imagery, and intimate references to the natural world create works that feel deeply personal and transportive, moving between memory and lived experience. Together, the presentation offers an atmospheric encounter with Caribbean identity and womanhood.

Auudi Dorsey Refusés, London / New York
Refusés presents a new body of work by Dorsey, shaped by archival research into the visual world surrounding blues and jazz performance. Paintings and sculpture trace the spaces, figures, traditions, and contradictions that have sustained these musical histories, moving between celebration, remembrance, and questions of visibility and recognition. Extending beyond the works themselves, a black-and-white checked floor recalling historic Southern jazz clubs transforms the booth into an immersive setting.

Foregrounded in a mode of figuration and conceptual practice attuned to lived experience, the body in Patel Brown’s presentation emerges not as stable or fully legible, but as politicized, relational, and continually in flux, shaped by external forces yet capable of resisting and reimagining them. Through the framework of body politics, works understands the body not as neutral but as a site onto which power, identity, and meaning are continuously inscribed.

Centering materiality as a vehicle for identity, memory, and embodied experience, Zidoun-Bossuyt brings together three distinct practices across photography, mixed media, painting, and mosaic. Layered surfaces, sculptural relief, pattern, and tactile mark-making transform each work into a site of personal history and cultural reflection, foregrounding the distinct visual languages of each artist and allowing questions of representation, labor, and collective memory to emerge through the physical qualities of the works themselves.

GALLERIA STUDIO G7’s presentation spans three generations of Italian artists, united by a shared commitment to small scale, material precision, and concentrated looking. Across painting and sculpture, fragments of landscape, traces of time, and references to sound and measurement embrace restraint, creating a quieter encounter in which time, matter, and perception become increasingly vivid the closer one looks.

For their joint presentation, YOD Gallery + ZAZA GALERIE bring together two practices that explore intimacy, perception, and our relationship to the living world. Dreamlike bodies, animal forms, veiled color, and atmospheric surfaces move between vulnerability and transformation, dissolving boundaries between the figure, landscape, and surrounding environment. The presentation unfolds as a sensorial dialogue between the corporeal and the ephemeral, connecting us as we continually shift in and out of view.

PIERMARQ* presents four distinct approaches to contemporary painting, each grounded in a different way of seeing. Across the presentation, geometric forms, reconstructed personal histories, cinematic imagery, and luminous layers of color move between recognition and abstraction. Rather than following a single visual language, the works create a varied conversation about identity, place, memory, and how images form and are understood.

Soho Revue presents three artists whose work moves through imagined landscapes shaped by memory, myth, and emotional experience. Their paintings, prints, and mixed-media works bring together dreamlike figures, animal forms, tactile surfaces, and folklore, creating worlds that resist a clear distinction between the familiar and the fantastical. Rather than offering a single narrative, the presentation unfolds as a series of intimate and uncanny encounters with questions of identity, belonging, and desire.
