Join us at Lehman College Art Gallery on Wednesday, September 9, from 4:00–5:00 PM for a special educator preview of Does This Taste Funny? Humor in Contemporary Art, before the exhibition’s opening reception at 5 PM. Teachers of all grade levels, from Pre-K through Grade 12, and all subject areas are invited to explore this lively exhibition featuring the work of 40 contemporary artists, including Cindy Sherman, Elizabeth Murray, Peter Saul, and more. Enjoy light refreshments, connect with fellow educators, and learn more about Lehman College Art Gallery’s school programs and educational offerings. Come discover ways contemporary art, humor, satire, absurdity, and wordplay can spark conversation and inspire classroom engagement.
