19 ESPIRA COURT SANTA FE NM 87508 646 479-5884 NEWS LETTER We work with the Maasai community of Kitengela, near Nairobi, Kenya, to create  sustainable livelihoods.  ACACIA MOYO BEEKEEPING PROJECT BEE KIND! LEARN ABOUT OUR BEEKEEPING PROGRAM HERE OU OUR BEEKEEPING PROJECT IS NOW LOCATED AT the Empakasi Primary School, which serves 300 children in the heart of the Maasai community of Kitengela. We have a borehole, and we have enough land for our apiary, our pili pili (red chili) farm, and our greenhouse.  The students and their families will receive free training in beekeeping provided by the Kajiado County Beekeeping Cooperative.  The greenhouse will be used by the students to learn how to grow common vegetables using drip irrigation. The pili pili matures fast and will be harvested for cash as an added source of income to fund the beekeeping project. Seeds and training will be provided free of charge.
