WESTWOOD GALLERY NYC is proud to host the launch of a limited edition print portfolio celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Rush Arts Foundation. Curated by Rush Arts Board Member Berrisford Boothe and Founder Danny Simmons, the portfolio presents exclusive prints by 12 artists. Each of the artists included are a part of Rush's rich exhibition history of over 2,000 artists. The prints are signed and numbered by each artist and are available in an edition of 30, and 15 artist proofs.
All proceeds from the sales of the portfolio benefit Rush Arts Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) with a mission to provide underserved youth with contemporary art education and to develop and support artists, curators and new audiences.

Join us for a Poetry Reading by artist, author, and poet Danny Simmons accompanied by Jazz musician Eric Frazier.
In addition toDanny Simmons' abstract-expressionist art practice, he is also the author of six books of poetry and the co-creator of the HBO series Def Poetry Jam (2002-2007).
Eric Frazieris a Jazz musician born in Harlem and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Specializing in the Conga Drum, Djembe Drum, and African Dance, Frazier has performed in historic New York venues including Madison Square Garden, The Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Metropolitan Room, and The Apollo Theater. He has performed nationally in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Washington DC, and Los Angeles.

Established in 1995 in NYC, Westwood Gallery NYC focuses on contemporary artists from the 1960s through today, including downtown artists, Bowery Arts District, historic photography, and secondary market artwork.
The core exhibition program includes representation and extensive research into the socio-cultural implications of the artists’ artwork and process. Other projects include an award-winning documentary environmental film, site-specific installations, international art collaborations, museum loans and humanitarian philanthropic activities.
