This February, discover highlights from Dallas’s collecting community, celebrate a new cohort of emerging artists, and explore the work of a contemporary Spanish artist. Fields of Vision: Dallas Collects at Green Family Art Foundation February 7 - August 9, 2026 Fields of Vision: Dallas Collects brings together important 21st-century artworks acquired since 2020 by some of the city’s most well-respected collectors. Curated by Sara Hignite, the exhibition aims to highlight the diversity of Dallas’s art collecting community and its significance in the international art sphere, while offering an unprecedented opportunity to view artworks held by both seasoned and emerging Dallas-based collectors. In the Works at Dallas Contemporary February 13 - March 15, 2026 Dallas Contemporary is pleased to present In the Works, the second annual DC NTX Graduate Student Program exhibition opening February 13, 2026, curated by Anna Katz, Senior Curator at The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA). The annual initiative, launched in 2024, invites a cohort of North Texas Master of Fine Arts students in their final year of graduate work to exhibit at Dallas Contemporary after being selected by a visiting national curator. Initiated by Executive Director Lucia Simek, the program aims to advance the early careers of emerging artists schooled in the region by fostering healthy interactions and connections between students and renowned curators. Meadows/ARCO Artist Spotlight: Rubén Guerrero at the Meadows Museum February 22 - June 21, 2026 The Meadows Museum and Fundación ARCO have selected painter Rubén Guerrero (b. 1976) for the third edition of the Meadows/ARCO Artist Spotlight (MAS) program, an initiative that promotes contemporary Spanish artists through exhibitions at the Meadows Museum. Guerrero’s visually and intellectually engaging paintings, which pivot between abstraction and figuration and explore the limits of two-dimensionality, have been exhibited in major venues for contemporary art across Spain, including the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo in Seville and the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo in Málaga.
