Tufnell’s friendly, 32” tall gnomes are cast in pigmented resin. They will interact with the passing public in Crown Heights, delighting young and old alike. A steel rose bush joins the city tree in front of the gallery to add a poetic touch to this rapidly changing neighborhood.

Unframed presents particular visions of our daily environment through photographs, drawings, and a sculpture that stand on their own - without frames or pedestals. This is FiveMyles' third SpaceProgram exhibition this summer, acknowledging the work of five emerging artists, who have not had much opportunities to show their work in public.

Directions to FiveMyles: Take 2, 3, or 4 trains to Franklin Avenue. Walk two blocks against the traffic on Franklin. Walk ¾ block to 558 St. Johns Place. FiveMyles is within easy walking distance from the Brooklyn Museum.
