ShowNet Vision to Provide Exhibitors Real Time Scoring & Results!

Bridgehampton, NY—June 26, 2013—Exhibitors entering the Hampton Classic Horse Show, which returns to Bridgehampton, NY, August 25 – September 1, can save time by filing their entries online through Equestrian Connect.  Equestrian Connect offers its online service free for all Hampton Classic Entries, which will be accepted until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19!
The Hampton Classic returns for its 38th year of world-class equestrian competition, shopping and entertainment.  Masses of spectators, socialites and celebrities – and anyone looking for a top summer destination – return year after year to the eastern end of Long Island to see and be seen at New York’s iconic end-of-summer event.
“We are excited to offer our exhibitors the opportunity to submit entries electronically in addition to the old fashioned way of printing and mailing them in,” said Shanette Cohen, Hampton Classic executive director.  “We are always committed to offering the absolute best services to our exhibitors and to researching the newest and best improvements in technology.  Filing entries through Equestrian Connect makes things easier, saves time and provides entries that are legible and complete.  It saves valuable time both for exhibitors and for our horse show staff.  Competitors can go to equestrianconnect.com to register for the service.”
Another exciting opportunity for exhibitors is that ShowNet Vision will once again provide complimentary real time scoring and results for all rings throughout the week.  Additionally, ShowNet will webcast the Grand Prix Ring free of charge.  Video footage from other rings will be available on a pay-per-view basis.
“We are pleased to be able to provide exhibitors and spectators free accessibility to this information in real time,” said Cohen.  “We believe it will be of great value to all our exhibitors.”
The Hampton Classic features 6 show rings, a Boutique Garden with more than 70 vendors, and a wide selection of dining options, all on its 60-acre show grounds.  The Classic's world-class equestrian competition attracts many of the nation's top professional and amateur riders, and its Hamptons charm and schedule of family attractions make it the perfect destination for anybody looking to add some style to their summer.
The Hampton Classic features more than 100 classes of competition for horses and riders of all ages.  A wide range of jumper, hunter, equitation, short stirrup and lead line classes are part of the Classic’s schedule, as well as competitions for riders with disabilities and the highlight of competition, the $250,000 FTI Grand Prix and FEI World Cup™ Qualifier.  The prize list is available online at www.hamptonclassic.com.
For those who can’t make it to the show grounds, WVVH-TV, the official Long Island television station of the Hampton Classic, broadcasts up to five hours of competition and highlights each day during the Classic.  For more information on the Hampton Classic Horse Show, please visit the Hampton Classic website at www.hamptonclassic.com or call (631) 537-3177.  Hampton Classic Horse Show, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation.
