/SAC Bucharestin collaboration with Galeria Catinca Tabacaru, is pleased to present Free Fall into a Standing Position, a new solo exhibition byOvidiu Toader, curated byAnne-Marie Lolea.
Bringing together sculpture, drawing, and spatial intervention, the exhibition reflects the artist’s ongoing interest in movement, transformation, and states of transition. Conceived around a newly commissioned large-scale sculptural work, the project examines moments of instability and balance, inviting viewers to consider how bodies, objects, and histories are shaped through processes of change.
Working across sculpture, drawing, analogue photography, and natural materials, Toader develops immersive environments that blur the boundaries between poetic speculation and material inquiry. His works have been included in exhibitions at the Maramotti Collection in Reggio Emilia, Art Encounters Foundation and the French Institute in Timisoara, International Cultural Center Krakow as part of the Ovidiu Sandor Collection, and the Cultural Institute in Berlin. The artist is represented by Galeria Catinca Tabacaru.
