Sakura Moon, 2023, Archival pigments on handmade Japanese Kozo paper 110g, 63 x 42 cm. | Gentili Collezionisti e Amici,Siamo lieti di annunciarvi la nostra partecipazione alla settima edizione di The Phair, la prestigiosa fiera internazionale dedicata alla fotografia che si terrà nella suggestiva cornice delle OGR - Officine Grandi Riparazioni di Torino dal 22 al 24 maggio 2026. Vi aspettiamo per l’anteprima (Open Day) il giorno 21 maggio, un momento esclusivo per scoprire in anteprima le proposte di quest'anno. Per questa edizione, abbiamo scelto di presentare un progetto curatoriale d’eccezione: un Solo Show di Paul Cupido. L'Artista: Paul Cupido e la ricerca del “Mu" Paul Cupido (Paesi Bassi, 1972) è una delle voci più poetiche e profonde della fotografia contemporanea. Il suo lavoro ruota attorno al concetto filosofico giapponese di Mu: un vuoto che non è assenza, ma potenziale infinito, una tabula rasa pronta a essere riempita di significato. La fotografia di Cupido non vuole documentare, ma evocare. Attraverso immagini che sembrano sospese nel tempo, l’artista esplora la bellezza dell'effimero, il legame tra l'uomo e la natura e la risonanza spirituale del quotidiano. Le sue opere sono riflessioni dell'anima che si muovono tra il microscopico e il macroscopico, invitando l'osservatore a una partecipazione sensoriale ed emotiva. Ogni scatto è un frammento di un viaggio interiore alla ricerca di armonia e meraviglia.

For this edition, we have chosen to present an exceptional project: a Solo Show by Paul Cupido. The Artist: Paul Cupido and the Quest for "Mu"
Paul Cupido (Netherlands, b. 1972) is one of the most poetic and profound voices in contemporary photography. His work revolves around the Japanese philosophical concept of Mu: a void that is not absence, but infinite potential—a blank slate ready to be filled with meaning.
Cupido’s photography does not aim to document, but to evoke. Through images that seem suspended in time, the artist explores the beauty of the ephemeral, the profound bond between humanity and nature, and the spiritual resonance of the everyday. His works are reflections of the soul, moving between the microscopic and the macroscopic, inviting the viewer into a sensory and emotional experience. Each shot is a fragment of an internal journey in search of harmony and wonder. Event Details: Venue: OGR Torino - Corso Castelfidardo, 22. Public Dates: May 22nd – 24th, 2026.
