Something to read: the Conservation Center in Chicago

Spring has finally sprung here in Chicago, and after such a chilly winter, we couldn't be happier! Speaking of Spring, be sure to read about the springing areas of brass our Furniture Department repaired on Abraham Lincoln's Portable Bar. They also fabricated some missing elements of the piece, making it one of our most exciting treatments completed this month. Be sure to also check out our custom framing of a new portrait by Kerry James Marshall, and our treatment of early twentieth-century photographs.

For the first time ever, each of our articles features a new video! We hope you enjoy this little Spring treat.
