In collaboration with artist Pamela Ramos, Fellows reflected on their personal stories to create a series of zines, which will be installed in Ramos’ newsstand turned roving micro-gallery,El Clasificado, in the museum's Annex. Days presents: Makers Forum—Celebrating the Interchange of Shopping and Art Sunday, December 8, 12–5:30pm

MEND: film screening + performance Wednesday, December 18, 7–9pm
LA-based choreographer Chris Emile and filmmaker Jackson Kroopf present MEND, a meditative short film that traces performances of masculinity through interview, cinema, and contemporary dance. The screening will be accompanied by an interactive performance prologue, designed by Emile and Kroopf for this event, and followed by a conversation moderated by film curator Jheanelle Brown. Ruins of a Sensibility, 1972–2002 Ongoing
As part ofNo Wrong Holes: Thirty Years of Nayland Blake, visitors are invited to explore and play selections of Ruins of a Sensibility,1972–2002—an interactive installation comprised of the artist's expansive record collection—during regular museum hours throughout the duration of the exhibition.

No Wrong Holes: Thirty Years of Nayland Blake through January 26, 2020
For over 30 years, artist, educator, and curator Nayland Blake has been a critical figure in American art, working between sculpture, drawing, performance, and video. Heavily inspired by feminist and queer liberation movements, and subcultures ranging from punk to kink, Blake’s multidisciplinary practice considers the complexities of representation, particularly racial and gender identity, and the subjective experience of desire, loss, and power.No Wrong Holesmarks the most comprehensive survey of Blake’s work to date and their first solo institutional presentation in Los Angeles.Learn more
Sadie Barnette: The New Eagle Creek Saloon through January 26, 2020
Oakland-based artist Sadie Barnette reimagines New Eagle Creek Saloon, the first black-owned gay bar in San Francisco. Established by the artist’s father, Rodney Barnette, founder of the Compton, CA chapter of the Black Panther Party, the bar offered a safe space for the city’s multiracial LGBTQ community. During the exhibition, the installation will be activated by programs and social events.Learn more

In collaboration with Los Angeles-based artist Pamela Ramos, Fellows reflected on their personal stories and program experiences to create their own zines, which will be installed in Ramos’ newsstand turned roving micro-gallery, El Clasificado, in ICA LA's Annex. These and copies ofBehind the Zines—a zine produced by the artist specially for this exhibition—will be available for visitors to take. Learn more

Other Books at ICA LA
Other Books is a unique bookshop and collaborative space in Boyle Heights known for an astute selection of new and used books, comics, and zines. The bookshop is co-organized by Seite Books and Kaya Press with an emphasis on literature in translation; POC creators in both literature and art; alternative comics; international comics and art books; independent presses; POC history; and the Other in related contexts.Learn more
