Haines Gallery Announces Representation of Meghann Riepenhoff
Haines Gallery is pleased to announce our representation of groundbreaking photographer Meghann Riepenhoff.

Over the past decade, Riepenhoff has become well-known for her stunning cyanotypes—vivid blue imprints of rain, waves, sun, and sediment that emerge through the elements’ direct contact with the artist’s photographic materials.

Haines Gallery will hold its first solo exhibition of Riepenhoff’s work in 2020.

Cheryl Haines, Principal of Haines Gallery, states: "We are thrilled to have Meghann join the gallery’s program, which champions artists who are pushing their chosen media into new territory. Her works are not only beautiful and evocative of the landscape in which they are created, but are also at the vanguard of contemporary photography.”

Writing for The San Francisco Chronicle, art critic Charles Desmarais notes: “Meghann Riepenhoff makes such strikingly attractive abstract works that they scare me.”
Riepenhoff has exhibited her work at leading institutions such as the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the New York Public Library, and the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago and is in many important museum collections. In 2018, she received Guggenheim Fellowship recognizing her significant contribution to the arts.
