The latest annual destination for the international art world: Nashville, Tennessee.
Art Nashville 2018 will be the city’s first annual international art fair, drawing art lovers and buyers from around the globe, expanding Nashville from Music City to an Art City.
Art Nashville 2018 will be held downtown, steps away from Broadway, Avenue of the Arts and Music Row!
Art Nashville will host 60+ international art galleries. Our mission is to host a cross section of Nashville, the old and the new. We want to bring all aspects of Arttogether.
Art Nashville 2018 will showcase both Nashville the city and Nashville the creative center and highlight its ascension as a blossoming center of the arts and culture.
Music City is becoming globally recognized as a hub for the Arts. From Nashville’s long history as Music City to its rich culinary scene. From the Nashville Symphony to the new Ascend Amphitheater, Nashville is Art.
Downtown Nashville keeps blooming, collectives and artist projects and new galleries are popping up. Surrounding areas like East Nashville and Wedgewood/Houston are becoming hubs of creativity. The handful of established galleries on North 5th Avenue as known as Avenue of the Arts showcase international renowned artists as well as emerging local talent.

From its long history as The Music City, it’s rich culinary scene, the many galleries showcasing fine local and international art, the bold Nashville Symphony to the new Ascend Amphitheater, Nashville is art. CULTURE
Nashville has been ranked as the 2nd most vibrant arts city in the US by the National Center for Arts Research at SMU. The Frist Center for The Visual Arts and Fifth Avenue of The Arts both have visual art as their major focus, and places Nashville as a steadily growing art market.
The Tennessee Symphony, Tennessee Performing Arts Center, Nashville Opera, Nashville Ballet, Tennessee Repertory Theatre, Ryman Auditorium, Belcourt Theatre, all anchor performing arts in Nashville, and demonstrate the value Tennesseans place on high culture and art.

ECONOMY
Nashville is booming. It has seen job growth outpace population growth, enjoys a real estate market second to none, with luxury housing at a fraction of the price of other markets, thereby affording high income earners a larger proportion of disposable income. Nashville has done quite well by the leadership of city and civic leaders, as it continues to grow in its major business sectors of health care, professional sports, music, finance and tech.

Karyn Mannix is the owner and proprietor of both karyn mannix contemporary and The Mannix Studio of Art.
