YonkersArts presents the Sixth Annual Yonkers Artist Showcase at
the Yonkers Riverfront Library Gallery
A select group of over 30 Yonkers artists will show selections of their work in the sixth annual
Yonkers Artist Showcase in the Art Gallery at the Yonkers Riverfront Library, from Saturday
, through July 26th, 2014. The exhibition has been organized and curated by Gino Civale
May 3rd
and Luis Perelman under the auspices of YonkersArts. An opening reception will be held Friday,
May 2nd
, from 5 to 7p.m.
The sixth Yonkers Artist Showcase at the Riverfront Library spotlights the presence of a number
of remarkable artists in Yonkers, showing a variety and creativity comparable to what is found in
New York City. The curators have selected over thirty artists who will show works ranging from
painting, works on paper, photographs, sculpture, encaustics and other creative expressions.
Artists included are: Haifa Bint-Kadi, Anne Brooks, Gino Civale, James Love Cornwell,
Elizabeth de Bethune, P.K. Eagleton, David Fischweicher, Sheila Fischweicher, Yakov
Hanansen, Mary Ann Hardiman, Shelley Haven, Noel Hennelly, Diane Mitchell / Marko Gosar,
Paul Greco, Omar Kharem, Jacqueline Lorieo, Johanny Monsanto, Marvin Oberman, Meghan
