ADAM BARANELLO

"The Lost Works"

On view through April 30

The Shine Studio

977 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike

Bridgehampton, NY 11963

"The Lost Works" brings together a body of work once thought permanently lost, offering collectors and the public a rare opportunity to experience what can only be described as 'the exhibition that never was.'

Between 2015 and 2020, Adam Baranello was represented by a gallery that ultimately closed without returning the artist’s inventory, leaving the paintings unaccounted for several years. In an unexpected turn, the works were recently discovered in an abandoned storage unit and returned to the artist in full.

Now presented together publicly for the first time, these works offer a complete view of a key period in the artist’s career.

All pieces are available for purchase at their original pricing (c.2015) for a limited time during the Shine Studio presentation.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Adam Baranello is a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, musician, educator, and designer based in Hampton Bays, NY. He holds a residency for his visual art and dance company at the Southampton Cultural Center in Southampton, NY. He is the Artistic Director of the East End Players, a nonprofit theater and creative arts organization serving adults with diverse abilities, and the founder of the OFF Hampton Film Festival and co-founder of A&G Dance Company with Gail Baranello.
