Johnson has had solo exhibitions at institutions such as The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art (Ridgefield, CT), The National Academy of Sciences (Washington, DC), Roebling Hall Gallery (New York, NY), The Nicolaysen Museum (Casper, WY), and Nancy Littlejohn Fine Art (Houston, TX). She has been featured in group exhibitions at The Tang Museum (Saratoga Springs, NY), The Katonah Museum of Art (Katonah, NY), The Hudson River Museum (Yonkers, NY), DeCordova Sculpture Park and Museum (Lincoln, MA), Royal Scottish Academy (Edinburgh, UK) and Standpoint Gallery (London, UK), among others. Johnson has created site-specific installations for KK Projects (New Orleans), Dublin Contemporary (Ireland), Grace Farms Foundation (New Canaan, CT), Halsey McKay Gallery (East Hampton), and for the New York Armory Show with Morgan Lehman. She is a New York Foundation for the Arts fellow in Painting and Pollack Krasner Grant recipient.
