Collection of Rotted Wood by Wang Mansheng
In this series of ink paintings, Wang Mansheng captures the timeless pleasure of collecting and appreciating elements of the natural world. The comparison between this contemporary work and traditional pieces highlighted in the video illustrates how artworks from the past can inspire us and are still very relevant to our lives today.
The safety and well-being of our community is the highest priority as we respond to COVID-19. The main building is now open with new hours and all other buildings remain closed to the public. We’ve taken every precaution to ensure that the museum is a safe space for all of us, so be sure to check our website for more information on what you can expect.
