PREVIEW: Thursday, 6th July | 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm

Exhibition continues till 5th August

Tuesday - Saturday 11 am - 6.30 pm | Closed on Sundays & Mondays

TARQ is delighted to present Remains of the Day -an exhibition  of photographs by artist Shahid Datatwala. This exhibition is Datawala's first with TARQ and its preview will be hosted in conjunction with the launch of Verve's July Art Issue.

The two series that make up the exhibition - "Half Naked Nude" and "Unstill Life" - come together in their common theme of an exploration of the uncanny in everyday objects. They are influenced by Datawala's wider practice that branches into the realms of design and fashion photography. His unique eye for seeking out the extraordinary amidst the banal is evident in these bodies of work.

TARQ will also be hosting a walk-through with the artist on Saturday, 8th July, at 4.30 pm.
