With locations in
Soho and the former CBGB's Gallery on Bowery, The Morrison Hotel
Gallery, named after co-owner Henry Diltz's famous Doors album cover
shot, has become a major brand in their own "fine art music photography"
trademark and is highly respected amongst peers and artists alike.
Bridging the gap between fans and the larger than life musicians they
idolize and love, the gallery has brought countless exhibitions and
coveted photographs to music fans and collectors all over the world.
Founded in 2001 by former record company executive Peter Blachley,
legendary music photographer Henry Diltz, and former independent record
storeowner Rich Horowitz, the gallery has become an absolute staple in
New York City and in music culture abroad.
Notable exhibitions held at The Morrison Hotel Gallery include: Ken Regan Presents Bob Dylan; Curt Gunther: The Beatles 1964; Two Takes on Neil Young - The Photography of Joel Bernstein and Henry Diltz; Within a Circle of Friends: The Photography of Lynn Goldsmith;

Janette Beckman; From Darkness to a Dream: Bruce Springsteen - The

Of this notable
occasion, co-owner Peter Blachley says, "The 10 year odyssey that began
in Henry Diltz's living room has evolved into something that has touched
many people's lives thru the beautiful photographs that hang in
thousands of homes and businesses throughout the world. A true testament
to the power of art and music, The Morrison Hotel Gallery is proud to
