GUY BEGIN IN JAPAN

Being an artist that is appreciated much by the Japanese,having up to date carried out 9 art tours to Japan,and having sold thousands of works since 1990, l consider that l have received much from the Japanese. That is why l wish to express my recognition to them.

l want to offer my support in this difficult period of their history,caused by the catastrophe of March 11th.

All the money collected by the sale of the following work will be given to the Canadian Red cross for its "Japan Earthquake/Asia-Pacicic Tsunami" fund/ see Guybegin.com for details

Steve Zaluski and I had a great time walking this show. I was thinking of you all and brought you with me. Hope you have fun seeing the art The show was lively, the exhibitors said opening night was packed. The people I spoke with had all done nice business. Sell Art is/ was the motto of the day.This show run through Sunday.

Cutter & Cutter Fine Art of Saint Augustine, FL announced today another exhibition to be held at one of its four downtown Saint Augustine art galleries. “American Impressionism” will be a two week exhibition of three of the nation’s best and most collected impressionists painters. Over 100 new original canvases will be featured along with a very large number of iconic limited editions. The work of Leonard Wren, Mary Dolph Wood, and Stephen Shortridge will be featured and represents the best in still life, landscape, and multi-topic romantic interiors, cityscapes, and seascapes. The public is invited to enjoy the art between May 27th thru July 12th. A private invitation only collectors party will take place on May 27th and May 28th and will be another example of Cutter & Cutter Fine Arts determination to bring our area some of the finest art  found anywhere in the world. On Saturday May 28th the artists will be conducting live painting demonstrations and interacting with their collectors and the public as well.
