Beautiful Ruidoso, New Mexico is located at the southernmost tip of the Rocky Mountains at an elevation of 7,000 ft. and higher. We
are a tourist destination and the Art Festival is held at the height of
the horse racing season, where the town is full of visitors who come to
the scenic mountains of Lincoln County to escape the heat. What
began as an outdoor show and quickly moved indoors, attracts artists
from around the country and as far away as Israel. Come join us for the

WHAT: Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival - 56th Annual

For
more than 50 years The Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival has been
recognized as a fine art and craft show of high quality original
artwork. It has been rated one of the top 10 fine arts and crafts fairs
in the Northwest. The Festival draws well-educated buyers from nearby
affluent neighborhoods of Marin County and the greater San Francisco
Bay Area. The event provides an exceptional opportunity for the sale of
unique, creative and high-end work. The setting is in a beautiful
grove of redwoods in downtown Mill Valley.
Note from Sarah Shriver, the applications chair: "The Mill Valley Fall
Arts Festival had been my favorite show for years, so I was happy to be
invited to serve on the show's committee. There I witnessed the
dedication of the volunteers to create not only a top quality art show,
but a true festival-like atmosphere, making this show really special.
Mill Valley and the surrounding San Francisco Bay Area have a well
developed appreciation for art and craft and people have been coming out
for 55 years to support this show. I hope you'll join us this year in
the beautiful grove of redwoods in downtown Mill Valley!"
Artists who submit their work to the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival are
judged by six highly respected artists and craftsman and the
occasional gallery owner or rep to vote on each submission. The artists
with the highest average scores are admitted to the September
Festival.

Five exhibiting artist are selected as festival award winners each

Gallery are looking for an international curator of the fourth
edition of “NARRACJE-Installations and Interventions in Public
Space” Festival scheduled for November 2012 in Gdansk,
Poland.
“Narracje–Interventions and Installations in Public
Space” Festival is a presentation of large scale projections on buildings
and all kinds of creative, innovative and unusual artistic activities
taking place in public space within the Festival map. In 2012 the Festival
will explore the area of the real Old Town adjacent to the Main Town, with
its separated historical parts: Osiek and Zamczysko, located between the
Main Town and the Gdańsk Shipyard, as well as the area of the Shipyard
itself.

Celebrating our 7th year, the Art Rapids! fair has grown into one of the summer highlights in our beautiful harbor town. On
the shores of Grand Traverse Bay on Lake Michigan, near galleries,
restaurants, and shops, the fair attracts approximately 4000 art-loving
visitors. Live music and a children's art tent complete the scene. The Art Rapids! organization supports the arts in the community through grants, scholarships, concerts and classes.
