The strength of the category across the board was underscored by bidders participating from nearly 50 countries on the phones, online, and in our saleroom at 432 Park Avenue. Collectors vied for works spanning the 20th and 21st centuries – from Camille Pissarro to Andy Warhol, Lee Krasner to Jean-Michel Basquiat, setting over 60 new auction records.
