 Programme of the opening No. 1/5: Nicolas Darrot ( above) and the curator Andres Pardey will speak on the subject of fuzzy logic. The presentation will start at 6:30 pm and will be conducted in English (30 minutes). The French artist Nicolas Darrot is renowned for his robotic puppets, automata, and mechanical figures that operate at the intersection of theatre, technology, and the fantastical. Visitors can activate the performances of these kinetic figures themselves by scanning a barcode on costum-designed playing cards, whereupon the figure comes to life, singing, dancing and moving according to its own fuzzy logic. Each of the five figures will be inaugurated with an opening and accompanying programme.
