What to do Next!

Artists can visit www.amdurproductions.com and click "APPLY NOW," then follow the prompts to submit their work electronically through Juried Art Services (JAS).  All applications must be received before midnight on January 11, 2013 for consideration in this season's extraordinary line-up. Late applications accepted through January 18 for an additional fee.  

For thirty years, Amdur Productions, a nationally acclaimed arts festival production company, has organized and directed a selection of the Midwest's most prestigious juried art festivals.  In 2012, Amdur Productions expanded its geographic footprint beyond the Chicagoland area by launching new festivals in New Buffalo, Michigan; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Hallandale Beach, Florida.  Many of Amdur's festivals are rated in Sunshine Artist magazine's top 100 with several appearing in the top 50. The Port Clinton Art Festival, Amdur Productions' premiere festival which also
celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, was ranked the number five show in the country by Sunshine Artist magazine in 2012.

WHAT: Juried Fine Art Fair 
 
WHERE: Rochester Municipal Park, Rochester, Michigan
     
WHEN: Friday, September 6, 4pm-7:30pm; Saturday, September 7, 9am-7:30pm,                  Sunday, September 8, 9am-4pm
           

NOTEWORTHY:
  
*Presented by Paint Creek Center for the Arts, a nonprofit art center, the Art & Apples Festival is Michigan's second largest juried fine art festival with an average attendance of over 150,000 festival-goers and 290 artists from across the country.    

*Celebrating 48 years in 2013  

*Ranked 27th in the nation on Sunshine Artist Magazine's "200 Best" Fine Art & Design List 

*$5,000 in award money; $1,500 Grand Award, 5 Awards of Excellence $500 each.

*Held annually the weekend following Labor Day in Rochester's 30-acre Municipal Park.

*Artist amenities include: 24-hour security, booth sitting, artist care packages, ability to drive into park and unload right next to booth space, parking within walking distance to park and complimentary shuttle service to all artists.

*Application fee $30

*Booth fees: Single (11'x15') $425; Double (22'x15') $650; Corner additional $100; Electricity additional $60


Since 1982, PCCA has been dedicated to promoting the arts and artistic excellence through a full range of cultural programs including exhibitions, studio art classes, outreach programs, community involvement projects, and the Art & Apples Festival. PCCA's mission is to enhance life in the region by promoting, encouraging and creating opportunities to participate in and appreciate the arts.

WHAT: Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff, one of the nation's top fine art festivals
          (Sunshine Artist Magazine #20 2012)
 
WHERE: Beautiful downtown St. Joseph, MI 

WHEN: Saturday and Sunday 
           July 13-14, 2013 

NOTEWORTHY: 

*One-half century of artistic and sales excellence. 

*Limited to 216 artists. 

*Average sales (2012): $4,190.00, (source: Sunshine Artist Magazine) $3,700 (source: 136 respondents from 2012 artist survey). 

*Jury/Booth Fees ($30/$275 or $300, depending on space size: 15x15 and 20x20); many with exposure on two sides. 

*Estimated attendance: 70,000, drawn from all over the Midwest. 

*Friday set-up; drive to space for load-in and load-out. 

*Artist-in-Residence program; residents host artists in their homes.

The Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff celebrates 52 years of artistic excellence at Lake Bluff Park in 2013, overlooking Lake Michigan. The festival draws crowds from Chicago, northern Indiana, Grand Rapids and other nearby cities.
