MOJA Arts Festival Community Celebration
Sunday, October 30 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm
Hampton Park, 30 Mary Murray Boulevard
|
Join Mayor Tecklenburg and your Charleston friends and neighbors at Hampton Park this Sunday for an amazing afternoon featuring an incredible line up of musical talent, mouthwatering food concessionaires, a pop-up art exhibition and an artisan village. Due to Hurricane Matthew, the MOJA Finale originally planned for October 9 could not proceed; this event offers musicians who were unable to perform as scheduled during MOJA the chance to share their artistry.
Rounding out the bill, Charlton P. Singleton and Friends featuring Quiana Parler bring the funk hard on the heels of their packed-out Charleston Music Hall Prince tribute, Pop Life. The band is ready to deliver with a knock-out set covering the likes of Prince, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Dazz Band, Chaka Khan, EWF, and The Time!
