The Curator’s Eye Spotlights O’Sullivan Antiques

The Curator’s Eye Spotlights O’Sullivan Antiques

NEW YORK - The Curator’s Eye, (www.CuratorsEye.com), the distinctive online platform for the finest art and antiques from distinguished dealers across the globe, recently spoke with Chantal O'Sullivan and Trevor O'Reilly at O'Sullivan Antiques, an English and Irish antiques specialist based in Dublin and New York.

O’Sullivan Antiques exhibited an exceptional Robert Jupe dining table on CuratorsEye.com which garnered a lot of attention. It was “perhaps because of its ingenious patented mechanism on top of the beauty and craftsmanship of the piece itself” that it seemed “to appeal to furniture enthusiasts and collectors of scientific instruments alike.”

This led to “interesting conversations” and the dealers “are happy that so many more collectors now know O'Sullivan Antiques through this table” and other pieces they exhibited with The Curator’s Eye. Importantly, they said the new collectors “are not just our local audience but global, which is important to us. With marketing and advertising, every encounter adds up to larger awareness.”

O’Sullivan Antiques continues to use CuratorsEye.com to enhance their exhibitions in their physical gallery space by incorporating the online platform. They will be hosting an exhibition of important 18th century Irish silver in their gallery, some of which will be showcased on CuratorsEye.com. Irish Georgian Silver is much rarer than London silver, and O’Sullivan will be pleased to show some choice examples to the collecting world. The exhibition opens on October 24th and runs through November 16th at their New York gallery. By participating in The Curator’s Eye, dealers like O’Sullivan can constantly exhibit their exceptional artwork to thousands more potential clients across the globe.

The Curator’s Eye offers personalized services for dealers to find a larger international audience, and has a global team of regional and specialist dealer representatives. The site presents connoisseurs with a highly selective array of art, antiques and historic objects from the most distinguished dealers and galleries around the globe. Today, collectors from Monaco, India, Italy, and Russia are among the registered members from over eighty countries. To view outstanding items available from the top dealers across the world, visit http://www.CuratorsEye.com/.

The fastest growing art fair that is revolutionizing the art industry, Art Monaco ’13, is now expecting to hold record-breaking attendees for its fourth edition. We are currently accepting applications for its upcoming edition that is to be held from April 25 to April -28 in Monte-Carlo, Monaco. Submissions and proposals are welcome from contemporary art galleries that have an established recognition for qualitative art as well for emerging artists that wish to present an innovative installation.
Nestled on the coast of the beautiful Mediterranean sea, Monaco is not only immersed with the greatest amount of millionaires and billionaires per capita in the world but also interlines a vast cultural charm that lays beyond the glitz and glorious attractions of Monte-Carlo. Since 2010, Art Monaco has been a meeting point to gathering galleries around the world with emphasis on paintings, sculptures, design, jewelry, mixed media and digital art. The 2012 edition included a focus participation on Latin-American galleries where notably the Big-Foot projects was the main attraction, as well as a few fine collection pieces from antique jeweler Veronique Bamps and small feature on fine art. The event draws the attention of royally acclaimed monarchs, celebrities and art lovers locally and on an international scale.
This year’s line up has exquisite and selected artworks that are being presented. Art Monaco will offer once again an international flavor with exhibitors from Russia , Japan, Switzerland, Mexico, United-States, France, Italy, Korea, Colombia, Argentina, Indonesia, UK, and more. Some of the artwork to keep an eye on, will be represented by GRK Gallery (Paris), Palais Royal Gallery (Moscow), Tanya Baxter Contemporary (London) amongst many other galleries. Art Monaco besides offering an exclusive expression space it also serves as an international platform for both established and emerging galleries creating international exchanges and opening new business opportunities. The latest addition of the show is the Bluebaum Gallery (Korea). Established in 2011 to directly share the universal language of the arts, Gallery Bluebaum upholds its firm dedication to be a cultural space where the public can engage the work and ideas of the artists. Beautiful talent represented by the gallery may be found by the works of Jeong Hwang, Kyu-Hak Lee, Jung-Chul Lee, Hwa-Sik Hong, Jin-Hyuk Lim, Sung Wook Kim, Sang Don Han and Hae-Jeong Cho.
With its great success over the years, Art Monaco has decided to launch three new art fairs for the year 2013 that promises to hold the same amount of exclusivity. Barranquilla Arte taking place in Colombia on the same dates as Art Monaco, April 25th to the 28th, Art Casa Blanca in Morocco taking place June 6th to the 9th and Moscow Contemporary being held on September 26th to the 29th 2013. We hope to have you amongst us as either an exhibitor or one of our guests. The FIAT Brand stands for discovery through passionate self-expression. It encourages people to be in charge of their lives, live confidently and celebrate the smallest of things with infectious excitement. That philosophy is embodied by the North American introduction of the iconic FIAT 500 or Cinquecento – a small car that lives big. Italian at heart and rooted in a rich heritage, the 500 is synonymous with modern simple design blending form, function and a pride of ownership that is genuine.

Reminiscent of the original Cinquecento, the 2012 FIAT 500 and FIAT 500c (Cabrio) build on the vehicle’s global popularity. Since its initial launch in 2007, more than 800,000 FIAT 500 vehicles have been sold in more than 80 countries around the world. The model’s unquestionable popularity is the result of the FIAT 500’s great ability to deliver unmatched personalization options with advanced solutions in terms of quality, engine and passenger comfort. In addition to success on the sales front, the FIAT 500 has earned more than 80 awards, including being named the 2008 European Car of the Year, 2009 World Car Design of the Year, Best New Engine of 2010 (FIAT MultiAir Turbo) and a 2012 “Recommended Pick” by Consumer Guide.
