Without preservation Seven Women Seven Sins will continue to decay
until it can't be viewed at all! Helping to preserve this film will
allow for access and public viewing through screening prints and DVDs.
About the Project
Seven Women Seven Sins brought together some of the world?s most renown
women directors: Helke Sander (GLUTTONY), Bette Gordon (GREED), Maxi
Cohen (ANGER), Chantal Akerman (SLOTH), Valie Export (LUST), Laurence
Gavron (ENVY), and Ulrike Ottinger (PRIDE). Each filmmaker chose a sin
to interpret as they wished. The final film reflected this diversity,
including traditional narrative fiction, experimental video, a musical,
and a radical documentary.
Funding Goal
$43,000 is needed to preserve this important work. However, we have
already raised $25,000 in cash and in-kind services. Our goal is to
raise $17,000 through this campaign.
