THE “HEAVEN CAN WAIT” TEAM Showcased THE WILD & POPULAR
RECONSTRUCTED BRA FASHION SHOW AND AUCTION
Thursday, April 7 at the Southampton Publick House, 7:00pm
As part of its’ fund raising efforts for the LI2DAY Walk for Breast Cancer, the Heaven Can Wait Team hosted the very popular
Reconstructed Bra Fashion Show and Auction. Volunteer designers displayed their fanciful designs – modeled of course by very attractive volunteers – taking the humdrum undergarments and decorating them to the limits of their imagination. Last year’s show included fanciful designs with feathery boas, orchids and ribbon roses with underpinnings of glistening tinsel, rhinestones, ruffles and animal appliqués which looked like something out of a Disney movie, humorous, sexy and fun. The designs were auctioned off to raise funds for breast cancer and the bidding was brisk. All bras were successfully sold at

All proceeds from this Heaven Can Wait Team effort benefited local breast health organizations: Lucia’s Angels, the Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Southampton Hospital and the Ellen Hermanson Breast Center.
