Fujiko Nakaya: Veil
Closing November 30, 2014

Coinciding with the 65th anniversary of the Glass House and the 2014 tour season, the Glass House presents Fujiko Nakaya: Veil, the first site-specific artist project to engage the iconic Glass House itself, designed by Philip Johnson and completed in 1949. Veil stages a potent dialogue with the Glass House, producing an opaque atmosphere to meet the building's extreme transparency and temporal effects that complement its timelessness.

Fujiko Nakaya: Veil is generously supported by National Endowment for the Arts, Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, The Japan Foundation, and Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope®. Additional support is provided by Mee Industries, Inc.

MJSA Jeweler's Bench Conference & Trade Fair!
September 13 & 14, 2014
Sheraton Providence Airport

If you ever wanted a better, more profitable way to make or repair a piece of jewelry, then this event is for you.

The Jeweler's Bench Conference & Trade Fair is for anyone engaged in bench work--artisans and designers, manufacturers, retailers who offer repair or repurposing services--who wants to be a business success. The conference offers two distinct educational programs:
 Pulse Arc Welding
The Better Business Strategies program features sessions on how to cut through "information overload" and send direct, compelling messages to customers--and then ensure new orders can be filled promptly.

The Better Bench Work program covers the technical issues faced by bench jewelers every day, from choosing the best tools and working to avoid additional costs, and reduce production costs for maximum efficiency.

Click here for the conference schedule.

In addition to outstanding education, we are adding familiar and new suppliers offering bench tools, manufacturing equipment, contract and business services--basically, the supplies and services you need to put your new knowledge to work. So don't forget your shopping list!

Click here for a current exhibitor list.

Register today, mark your calendar for September 13 & 14, and start your shopping list! The Sheraton Providence Airport hotel is not only easy to get to, but has plenty of FREE parking.
