This year’s show will feature an exciting array of artists. From Marguerite Humeau’s biomorphic beings to Cristobal León and JoaquÃn Cociña’s mysterious video exploring Latin American history, viewers will encounter many innovative works defying categorization. Mexican artist Abraham Cruzvillegas’s performative installation Autorreconstrucción: To Insist, to Insist, to Insist... (2018), curated by Philipp Kaiser in cooperation with The Kitchen, supported by MGM Resorts Art & Culture, will inaugurate the Miami Beach Convention Center’s brand-new Grand Ballroom.
While at the show, visit the UBS Art Studio, located in the West Lobby, to find out more about UBS’ extensive involvement in the world of contemporary art. For this edition, it will be dedicated to the women shaking up the (art)world. Furthermore, do not miss Audemars Piguet’s special project with Tomás Saraceno: On the oceanfront, the Berlin-based artist issues an aerial invitation to Aerocene, an interdisciplinary endeavor investigating the poetic complexity of the atmosphere through floating sculptures lifted only by the heat of the sun.
