4 Elements: Fire, Water, Wind and Earth Art Show ShawNshawN presents... My latest creations in my style Architectural Abstraction.  This style is an explosion of angles and shapes battling it out in the composition.  My palette has been reduced to a few colors to maximize the impact of the colors on the viewers emotions. At this event, we will be serving wine, snacks and have a fashion show and live music along with meeting me the artist.  This show is located at a new venue Wave Street Studios, one block up from Canary Row in Monterey.  Hope to see you there! Hello, 

mfc-michèle didier starts its 2015-2016 exhibition program with the presentation of the work The Fountain Archives by  Saâdane Afif. This exhibition announces the publication of the entirety of Saâdane Afif’s The Fountain Archives by mfc-michèle didier in 2017, for the celebration of the Centennial of Marcel Duchamp’s work.

And it is not by chance that, in paralel, mfc-michèle didier has decided to invite Jazon Frings. His questionning of the nature of art goes beyond the questions raised by the ready-made. he artist creates stock shares linked to his own life: the concept of the stock market is called into question, opening greater perspectives than its current status of a playground for a select few.

New Museum Announces Culminating Demo Day for Inaugural Year of NEW INC, the First Museum-led Incubator for Art, Design, and Technology Museum Will Partner with Red Bull Studios New York to Present an Interactive Showcase of Collaborative Projects Born from the NEW INC’s Founding Class New York, NY…Lisa Phillips, Toby Devan Lewis Director, and Karen Wong, Deputy Director, cofounders of NEW INC, today announce the year-end programs for the inaugural class of the New Museum’s incubator for art, design, and technology. Led by NEW INC Director Julia Kaganskiy, select members will present their start-ups and key projects at NEW INC Demo Day taking place in the Museum’s theater on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Later that evening, NEW INC will kick-off its partnership with Red Bull Studios New York with demonstrations by presenters and the debut of an interactive showcase of nine collaborative projects by NEW INC members. “We’ve been a radical, future-leaning institution since our inception. Experimentation and risk-taking is part of our DNA, and incubating artists, curators, and cultural practitioners is something we’ve done throughout our forty-year history,” said Lisa Phillips. NEW INC, the first museum-led incubator, is a shared workspace and professional development program supporting one hundred of New York’s top creative practitioners as they expand models and strategies for growing their businesses and develop new ideas at the intersection of culture, technology, and innovation.
